Comet S4 1999 LINEAR, July 8, 2000, 7:20-7:30 UT, seeing 5, transparency 4.8. Astro-Physics 7.1" f/9 EDT refractor on homemade Dobsonian-style mount. Magnification 60x-180x. Pseudo-nucleus appeared elongated. Tail length slightly less then 1/2 degree. |
