Comet 73P-Schwassmann-Wachmann 3, component B (2006), April 21st, 2006, 3:30 - 3:45 UT, seeing 4-5 (fair-good), transparency 4.9.
TMB Optical 105mm f/6.2 refractor on an alt-az mount. Magnification 47x, field of view approximately 0.4 degrees. East is at the bottom of this sketch, west to the top, north to the left and south to the right.
The comet had a diffuse coma and faint tail. The tail appeared somewhat feathered. No pseudo-nucleus was noted. Component B appeared fainter but larger than component C.

The comet had a small pseudo-nucleus, diffuse coma, and faint tail. The tail appeared somewhat feathered. Component C appeared brighter but smaller than component B.
